Pacific Gold Macadamias goes nuts for Microlistics WMS

Pacific Gold Macadamias, a nut giant of Queensland, Australia have chosen to implement Microlistics WMS into their warehousing and production facility in Bundaberg, QLD.

Producing over 15,000 tonnes of macadamias during peak season, PGM is owned by the largest producer of macadamia nuts in the world, the Macadamia Processing Company and has a guaranteed annual supply of premium nuts sourced locally in Queensland.

Through their marketing arm, Macadamia Marketing International (MMI), PGM also sell bulk wholesale premium macadamia kernel both in Australia, and internationally. The facility produces nuts for markets extending through the American, Asian, Japanese, European and Middle Eastern sectors.

In addition to the traditional warehouse management system (WMS) functionality and supply chain traceability, Pacific Gold Macadamias will be able to manage raw materials to production, finished goods and batch/lot tracking with full HACCP Food Safety management capabilities, contamination and allergen management.

As part of the Microlistics WMS implementation, PGM will utilise functionality including:
